Memories

My sweet pea is with grandma, and has been for the last couple of weeks. I miss that little girl!! But it's been good for the hubby and I. We've gotten to spend some quality time together<3

I'm sitting here at work and I keep  thinking of the things I used to do with my mom. Like going shopping together on Black Friday and wrapping presents for my younger brother and sister. But my favorite is sitting on our front porch watching the sun come up with a cup of coffee or hot coco. And I can't wait to do that with Audrey and her remember it. Some of my favorite memories with my mom are memories that didn't involve any money spent. They were just times we spent together.

A little of everything

My sister has been here almost a month and I've been trying to think of things to do that she would like.
We went shopping and we've been hanging out at the pool. This last weekend we took her down to San Antonio. We hung out on the river and ate at the RainForest Cafe, which I was NOT impressed with, took her to the Alamo, and checked out the little shops and things. Then the next day we took her to Six Flags. It was a BLAST. We went on rides we've  been on before and even our little munchkin go to ride a few kiddie rides and she had so much fun. It was worth everything to see that big ole grin while she was on the different rides.

Other than that, I've been reconnecting with old friends and just working. I've been at work for four months already! But in a couple of weeks, we are driving up to my mom's to drop my sister back off. I'm trying to think of different things to do with her. It's been a while since I was 16.

Change of plans

I was supposed to go get my sister in 2 weeks, but my babysitter had  some family issues come up and had to go home and I didn't know what I was going to do about a sitter. Babe and I CAN'T take off. None of my friends offered to help me out :( But my mom is amazing and now my sister will be here tomorrow night to help us out. Which means she'll get to spend more time with us :)) I don't know where's I'd be if I didn't have such an amazing family! I have been in cleaning mode today. I'm sure I burned TONS of calories. I tried redoing the living room, but nothing looked quite right. I need to wash the sheets my sister will be using, that way they are fresh and clean. I am SO glad that we have a spare bedroom with a real bed. I'd hate to make my sister sleep on the couch or an uncomfy air mattress for a month+

Road trippin

In a couple of weeks me and the munchkin are headed up to Grandma's! It's about time to see them and we are picking up my sister and bringing her back with us a for a month. I'm pretty excited :)) I plan on taking her to Schlitterbahn and hitting up Six Flags. Maybe take her school clothes shopping since there is better shopping here than in BFE. I need to get an oil change and a few other things to make sure Sophie( my car) is good to go. Which I have no doubts that she will be, I mean,  she's a brand new car lolol. Well that's about it.

101 in 1001♥

So I had a good friend inspire me to write down my little list for 101 things I want to do in 1,001 days. And I think that it would be amazing to start a list, challenge myself, even if I can't finish the 101 things in the 1,001 days. Even to finish half of the list would be amazing.

Friend time.

Today I got to hang out with a friend that haven't seen in what feels like forever. We went out to lunch at one of favorite places and sat and just caught up for while, laughing at Audrey. Then we hit up the mall. Mostly just walked around. But I did get a whole new outfit, complete with shoes, and two extra shirts AND got Audrey a new [adorable] swimsuit and matching hat. All in all it was a great day out with my munchkin and a good friend.
I need to do it more often!

house things

I can not figure out what to do for our bedroom. I'm just stuck. I loved the teal, but i can't find anything to go with it. I found bedding that I really like, but I'm just not sure if it's the ones for us. It's grey and white with a damask pattern. I think I want some color in a our room other than those. But at the same time I think a neutral room would really classy and chic. More grown up than having some random color. I found pink, but I think it would be hard to decorate around the pink bedding. I need to actually go shopping, but I don't want to pick it out alone, that way I have opinions. I really wish I could decide. A room with a little bit of color, or a black/white/grey room, that looks really nice? I need help. Haha.
