We are home from our hotel stay. And boy was it awesome. Our room was great, we were on the eighth floor and had an atrium view room with a balcony. The view was amazing. Audrey did super great in Daycare, everyone said the same thing, "She's my favorite, she's SO good and well behaved". They told us that she played hard, which doesn't surprise me. She played so hard that she fell asleep in the middle of her dinner before going back. And someone payed for her meal and our drinks. Which was SUPER sweet, I wish I could have thanked them. We weren't sure if it was because of hubby is military or because Audrey was just so cute falling asleep in her high chair. After her dinner, we dropped her back off at day care and we went to dinner. For the first time without Audrey. (Insert jaw drop here) We went to this Coastal Italian place that was really romantic and oh my gosh, it was good. We ordered ourselves some drinks, crab cakes, some salad, and hubby had a New York strip and I had Garlic shrimp and Scallop scampi. They were both DELICIOUS. And got some Zeppole for dessert. Which was a first for me. I highly recomend them. The total was $150! We've never spent that much on one dinner before. But it was SO good. The hotel is beautiful, and we plan on going back. Everything is in the Atrium so it's like you are outside, but don't have to deal with the elements. There is a river walk, an Alamo, fountains, little waterfalls, even all of the plants are real. I can not wait to go back. There is an indoor pool and I'm pretty sure it was salt water, which I had never seen before. I could go on and on about this place, but I don't want to make anyone read to much :)
Let's just say I fell in love with this hotel. And being with my family away from our house was very much needed.

Oh baby.
The last couple of days Darryl has been veryyy, loving towards me. Haha. And I was asking him why he was being so "loving". His response, "I've been thinking about it the last couple of days and I really want to have another baby". Um, wow. I knew we wanted one in the future, like start trying this summer or something. But dang. I guess we shall see.

Weekend Getaway
We are going on a little getaway this weekend and I can't wait. The hotel is GORGEOUS. The hubby said on Saturday we are having a romantic dinner. We haven't had dinner without Audrey since she was born. Crazy, I know. But we hate leaving her because she's growing up so fast. We just aren't the kind of parents that like leaving her all of the time. Anyway, I am SO excited to do my hair and make up all sexy and be able to put on a nice dress and some fancy shoes. I might even have a little something special on underneath ;)
Now to dedice what I want to wear. I have a couple little black dresses, but I might do a little shopping. We will have to see. Here's the hotel:
Isn't it AMAZING? I can't wait♥

Memories♥
I was snooping around my MySpace page and I came across the blog of baby updates when I was pregnant with Audrey. I teared up a little bit. She's such a big girl. Now I'm 10000% happy I did this.
July 15.
Found out we are expecting! And I learnded I have a terrible poker face.
I couldn't keept it to myself for two minutes!
July 22.
Went to a pregnancy center to confirm and got the papers I need for WIC.
Say what you want. It helps a lot! Found out an estimated due date. March 22, 2010.
I'm six weeks, two days. But it will probably change when I go in for my first appt.
July 29.
Morning sickness sets in. Heartburn too.
Could be worse though. My first appointment is August 14th.
August 13.
Had to go to the ER on Monday. I was bleeding and daddy got a little freaked out.
Everything is fine. Baby's heartbeat is 158 bpm. Had to have blood drawn, they could get any blood and poked me three times. It looks like Darryl abused me lol. But I did have have a UTI, so I'm on anti-biotics. Appt. tomorrow!
August 14.
Had my first appt. They took six things of blood that made me sick. I felt a little dumb.
Didn't do much else. My next appt. is Sept 10.
August 22.
In San Antonio for the weekend, and going to Georgia in a couple days.
I'm about 10 weeks.
September 9.
Twelve weeks, two days today. I have an appt. tomorrow. I get to hear his or her
heartbeat for the first time and I'm so excited!
September 11.
I didn't get to hear the heartbeat, but I did get to see our precious little baby for the first time. He or she has some long legs. I had to answer a lot of questions. I found out I might have to be on anti-biotics my whole pregnancy cause of my bladder. I have to take pee tests at every appt. My due date hasn't changed. I scheduled my ultrasound appt and got my flue shot.
September 21.
Welcome to the second trimester! I am 14 weeks even. My morning sickness is starting to go away. Finally! I'm getting more energy and don't feel like sleeping as much. I have become addicted to Cherry Icee's. They're so good. My next appointment is October 8th and we find out the sex on October 23rd! Darryl will be with me, so of course he'll know first, and if he can't come with me, know one will know until he does. I'm hoping for Audrey Faith but daddy wants an Ian Walker. I guess we'll see!
September 30.
So I felt the first little flutters. I wasn't sure if that's what it was, but I haven't been having gas bubbles. I'm 15 weeks and 2 days. Darryl is pretty excited, except the fact that he can't feel it.
October 14.
So I had my 16 week check up last week and we almost didn't get to hear the heartbeat because the baby was all over the place. All of us laughed because as soon as the doctor found the heartbeat, the baby would dash away. Very hyper baby. My mom thinks it's a boy.
October 23.
It's a GIRL♥ A very hyper little girl. Daddy is a little dissapointed, but I'm thrilled! We're thinking of the name Audrey Faith.
October 26.
Little Miss Audrey can now be felt from the outside =) Daddy got to feel his first little kick over the weekend and it scared him a bit. His reaction was priceless. I'm 19 weeks. Almost half way there.
November 3.
I am 20 weeks and a day. Half way there and I've been craving Applebees boneless hot wings NONSTOP. She hasn't been quite as active, or she's just in a spot that I can't feel her.
November 9.
I am 21 weeks. My last appt went good. The ultrasound came back good. It was just scary because my appt was at the same time as the shooting on Fort Hood. So the hospital was a real mad house. It's so sad.
November 20.
So I can't believe how fast time is flying by. I'm 22 weeks and 4 days. Already. In 3 days, me and Darryl will have been "physically" together a year and we'll be celebrating our 2nd Thanksgiving together. But, back to baby... She's been all over the place. We also bought a listening system so I've been listening to her non stop. I love it. The only bad thing, sometimes I pee when I sneeze. Oh the joys lol. Oh and my belly button is starting to stretch, which Darryl is horrified by.
November 29.
So I'll be 24 weeks tomorrow. The other night we were watching tv and I felt her kick, but it was a harder kick, so I look at my belly, and BAM! She was kicking my stomach out, so we stopped watching tv and starting watching her make my belly jump. Now I pretty much just they there and watch her do it. I love it.
December 7.
Momma turned 19 the 5th. So I had an appt. last week and they said I was measuring 3cm bigger than what I should, but they are sticking to to my due date. But She's been bigger for a while. She weighed more than normal at 18 weeks. And I couldn't even remember my last period, if I got it the month I should have. So I'm almost thinking I could be 28 weeks instead of 25. I'm hoping so!
December 20.
Going to be 27 weeks tomorrow. We moved into our new apartment and someone's room is partly set up! We need to get bedding and few other things for her room. She's not as active as she used to be, but she lets me know she's there♥ The belly button is almost gone. Probably in the next couple weeks it will be an outie.
January 10.
Ten weeks to go. Doesn't seem like it. We are in Missouri visiting Darryl's sister and our nephew and I've been freezing my butt off. I also feel like I'm getting sick. Baby has been making me miserable, I can't sleep at night because she causes me so much pain after a while, so I'm always exhausted. Not fun.
February 2.
Oh boy. Less than 7 weeks to go! My nesting instinct has kicked in. I've been cleaning the house all day. And anyone who knows me, knows I HATE to clean. I've been in her room setting stuff up and cleaning. I want her here.
February 8.
I've been getting cramps crazy bad. Some so bad I feel like I'm going to get sick. She's also dropped some and I've started losing my plug. I don't think it will be too much longer.
February 17.
I ended up in L&D on Monday, but was fine except I had protein in my urine. I had to take a 24 hour urine test and got the results back. I have pre eclampsia and I am being induced once I hit 37 weeks.
February 20.
Had a whole lot of appointments yesterday. Had a group b strep test, an ultrasound, NST, and made an appointment for a 3 hour glucose test. We found out Audrey is breech so I will not be induced, but will be delivering via section on March 2nd. We were worried she would turn out to be a boy because of our luck, but she is still clearly a little girl. I have NST twice a week, a pre op, regular appointment, glucose test, 24 hour urine, and finally I will see the anethesiaologist the day before the c section and she will be here.
Found out we are expecting! And I learnded I have a terrible poker face.

ER visit
I've been sick for 2 weeks and after trying to get a doctors appointment and failing because they are SO busy. Darryl made me go to the ER. I was there until three this morning. Not fun. I have a Urinary Tract Infection and Kidney infection. When I got there I had tachycardia and a fever, and I was dehydrated. I was brought back and had to be put on IV so I could get fluids. I had to give blood cultures from different sterile sites so now my hand is bruised and really hurts. They gave me a shot of an anti-inflammatory, in the butt of all places, so now that's sore too. But Darryl picked up my medications today so I should be good as new in a few days.

My little girl.
I was just laying in bed next to Audrey and started thinking to myself. My baby is almost two. She's not really a baby anymore. Which made me kind of sad. Looking back, there are things I wish I would have done differently. Like sticking with breastfeeding. I made some mistakes that led to my supply drying up. I miss that special bond that was just between her and I. One of my favorite images I have of her is her looking up at me with a smile while feeding her. I wish I had the guts to feed her in public. Because why should I care what others think? I wish I had held her just a little more. Even though she got lots of cuddles from me. It's just not the same now. She never stays with me for more than a few minutes before darting off to play. One thing I do know, is that I love that little girl more than I ever thought possible. I've only left her overnight ONCE. And I almost couldn't do it, and she was already 20 months old. And she's never away from me for more than a couple of hours and I always miss her. I honestly don't see how her father was able to be away from her from a year and miss so much. I would die if I had to go through that.
Baby number 2?
After seeing a tiny little newborn at Walmart last night, we both decided we want to have another baby. EEEP. Audrey is almost 23 months (already) so she's at a good age. But I think we are going to wait until Audrey is for sure potty trained. We have already started, so that's good. And I'm in the middle of something pretty important to me and I want to finish it before we really start trying. But it's out there, so I'm kind of excited :)

:)
Yesterday we took Audrey to the zoo and met up with Lorien. At first Audrey wasn't too thrilled. But she got into it. It was the first time she was old enough to REALLY enjoy it. And it was the first time her daddy got to take her, so it was kind of special. Since she is such a big girl at almost 2, we let her walk a lot of the day, which she couldn't get enough of. We took her to see the lions, tigers, monkeys, and tons of other animals, but she was just ehh about them. She was most excited about the hippo. Haha. Maybe because he was RIGHT next to the glass. I set her down and she ran up to him and starting pointing and squeeling. Let's see, oh she got ice cream, well she shared with mommy and daddy, and she got to feed the fish, which she of course loved, and pet a chicken. And the zoo here in San Antonio has a special area just for kids under 5. They can interact with animals and there is sand and little play houses. Aunt Lorien showed up right before we got ice cream and Audrey loves her, she didn't want to Lorien to leave, and was all about Aunt Lorien. BUT, Lorien adores Audrey :) And I know Audrey had fun because she passed out in the car on the way home and napped for four hours.

San Antonio bound
Tomorrow we are packing up and headed to San Antonio for the four day weekend! One of my best friends from high school and Audrey's God Mom is coming to spend the weekend with us. I think we shall take Audrey to see the Alamo and maybe get in a small date night since Grandpa offered to take Audrey so we can have a little time to ourselves. I might get to break out my sexy heals and convince him to take me for a carriage ride. The last time we were at the River Walk it was Valentines Day while I was pregnant with Audrey. I think it's going to be a fantastic weekend.

New Year, New blog
This is my first time blogging, so please bear with me.
I think 2012 is going to be the best year yet :) I have a medical exam tomorrow for an awesome job, and I'm hoping it goes well so I can start soon. I won't say where until I know for sure I have it.
We just got home from block leave and I was kind of sad to come home. I love spending time with our families, and Audrey loves her gammaw! We had an amazing first Christmas together as a family of three. Having Darryl home made it the best Christmas ever. Seeing Audrey light up as she unwrapped gifts put the biggest smile on my face and made my heart swell knowing we made her so happy.
I can't wait to see what the rest of 2012 brings for us :)
